Located in the Neuvillette neighbourhood in Saint-Brevin-l'Océan, the charming guesthouse Brevocean is quiet and relaxing.
It is a typical house of the town (maison brevinoise), completely renovated with qualitative and comfortable equipments.
Four rooms are available throughout the year, including a family suite. Each one with its own decoration, you can choose the one you prefer! Discover them on the rooms page!
Our charming home was a large family house whose members met each summer with joy and happiness. We decided to keep these features!
A unique location.
The Neuvillette neighbourhood is a privileged holiday resort since the beginning of the 19th century. As you walk there, you will discover passing intertwined streets and alleys, a preserved natural environment, bordered by maritime pines and green oaks.
The beach is 700 meters far from the house. To get there, we recommend a walk or bike ride. You will enjoy the charm of the large Ocean beach after crossing the pines and the protected natural dunes.
Equidistantly, you can visit the Saint-Brevin-l'Océan Tourist Office where you will find shops and restaurants. We will be happy to share our favorite addresses and advise you on places to discover!
Nearby you could practice various sports activities. For example, cycling, walking, paddle, surfing discovery, cable wakeboarding, kite surfing, sand yachting, kite flying etc. And also cultural and artistic events.
Our ecological approach.
When we have renovated the house, we already were in an ecological approach, that's why we tried to use as much ecological materials as possible and to keep as much original elements as possible.
Water
We kindly ask our guests to limit their water consumption during their stay in Brevocean.
Shower rooms equipments are all low water consumption and among the best on the market.
Solar panels provide hot water during summer.
Moreover, we have large rainwater collection capacities which allow us to water the garden and rinse equipment back from the beach (sails, wetsuit, ...).
Electricity
We only use low-energy light bulbs, both indoors and outdoors.
Cleaning
We only use natural products to clean the house.
The laundry is washed on site with our energy efficient washing machine.
Recycling
We have recycling habits. Wrapping, glass and paper are recycled and we reduce our household waste by composting and feeding our lovely chickens.
The vegetable garden
Garden watering is only done with rainwater harvesting.
Our compost feeds the vegetable garden.
